I know you're still thinking about the holidays this time of year, however, Valentine's Day is only a couple months away and it's never too early to start planning.
It’s easy to say you “love” your customers, but how often do you actually show them how you feel? With Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s the perfect time of year to thank and reward the clients you value most. Here are a few ideas:
Start an annual customer-satisfaction survey that stresses, “We take your opinions to heart.” Include a heart-themed pencil or pen and a self-addressed stamped envelope to make completion and return a cinch.
Rather than year-end holiday cards, distribute Valentine’s Day sentiments. That way your company’s special wishes won’t be lost in the flood of December mail.
Promote a referral program in February. Reward those customers who generate new business for you through referrals. Send them a Valentine’s Day care package of treats or spa items. “Since you cared enough to refer us, we’d like to pamper you.”
Deliver traditional sweets in branded style. We have many sources for customizing candies or chocolates with your logo. Keep an in-house supply so you’re equipped to hand out the goodies to your customers on sales visits during the month of February.
Think creatively about ways to distribute your promotions this Valentine’s Day. How about red t-shirts rolled up like roses and pinned to fake stems in clear florist boxes? A heart-shaped box housing your promotional literature? (Ask us for more ideas!)
Finally, don’t forget your employees. They could use a little “love,” too. With thousands of Valentine-themed gifts that can be imprinted at every price point, you won’t lack ways to share your sentiment. Give me a call or send me an e-mail and let’s play cupid! |
