For instance, this spring The First of Long Island purchased 65 Piquet Ultra Club golf shirts in a range of sizes to be given out to executives of the Bank to wear with pride at golf outings they attend, as well as to have available to give as gifts. The Bank liked the color, feel and wear of the shirts – especially the color LEAF they selected. The logo embroidered on the sleeve of the shirt gave an alternative look from the traditional front left chest embroidery. The Bank also loved the feel and look of the Khaki low-profile caps (one size fits all) embroidered with the Bank’s logo. Green and Khaki threads were used to match the colors of the shirts and caps. For the past three years the Civil Service Employees Association – Local 614 has held an annual Scholarship and Charity Golf Outing sponsored by the Scholarship Committee. All proceeds raised go directly toward the scholarships that are awarded yearly to CSEA members and their children.(Donations to the scholarship program are welcome!) The caddy coolers were chosen for their realistic golf bag style, large capacity and numerous compartments to hold various golf and personal items. The golf towels were added for an extra touch at very little cost. CSEA ordered 100 pieces of each for the event. Tell us what you need. You can dress up a golf outing for small or large numbers of participants with these great giveaways. To learn more about these items or other golf merchandise, call us or send us an e-mail. |

Set up a hole-in-one game at your retail establishment, trade-show booth or event location. Simply set up a faux putting green and provide customer discounts or prizes for everyone who gets a hole in one. Send guests away with a keepsake -- chocolate golf ball candies in imprinted wrappers or bag tags with your company or product information on them.
Rent a driving range for a distance challenge. This is a way to get into the spirit of competition without having to coordinate an entire tournament. Many of the same wonderful promotional items still apply: imprinted golf balls, tees, awards, etc. Have customers guess the number of golf balls. A large container of golf balls imprinted with your company logo is a smart way to collect valuable customer data. Ask visitors to write down their guess as to the number of balls, along with their contact information. Those who come closest to estimating the correct number win golf-themed prizes such as a luxury golf-club bag or drivers. (After the contest, you’ll have lots of imprinted golf balls to hand out as promotional gifts.) Offer golf lessons for a relaxed client interaction with executive targets or for your salespeople as an incentive. Send a single leather golf glove in an invitation, promising the mate at the event. A clever tease, such as “Let’s take a swing at better business solutions” shows your intent to mix business with pleasure. When you’re ready to plan a simple yet powerful golf program, call us or send us an e-mail. We’re happy to assist. |

To make it out of the closet and onto the greens, your golf-related promotional apparel must fit a few key guidelines.
First, consider branding. Perhaps no other sport requires more thoughtful attention to brand association than golf. Fortunately, today’s promotional apparel market offers some of the biggest brand names in the field: Greg Norman, Adidas, Nike, Callaway… to name a few. Do you want your company to be linked to the “Shark” or the “Tiger”? We can fit the right brand-image to your corporate identity and price point. Second, think about performance. The latest apparel choices combine multifunction with performance. Fabrics that offer odor-control, moisture management, and body-mapping (for superior range of motion) allow you to give a promotional apparel gift that will truly be worn in comfort and with appreciation. We can help you sort through all the technical fabrics on the market to find those that perform the best. Third, seek fashion. For example, choose women’s and men’s styles rather than a unisex selection. Look for stylish details such as windowpane or jacquard patterns in the weave, zip-in/out sleeves for wind-shirts, luxury fabrics from Egyptian cotton to silk blends. And, of course, consider the imprint. Choose methods such as tone-on-tone embroidery to make a subtle, sophisticated impression that will be worn proudly. Logo location could be the traditional left chest, or less obvious such as on a sleeve band or bottom-left hem. Last, remember accessories. Coordinate golf caps, towels and bags with your apparel for a total, polished gift or tournament uniform. Whatever your golf apparel program, give us a call and we’ll take your corporate message out to the course in style. |
